Dr. Feder is a licensed Clinical Psychologist. He also holds a license in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling, as well as life credentials in Counseling and Psychology with the California Community College System. Dr. Feder has thirty years of experience in the field of clinical psychology with prior experience and training at the NTL Institute at Bethel, Maine.

Since beginning his private practice, Dr. Feder’s main focus has been on individual adults and couples. He works extensively with people who have relationship problems, specializing in that area.

Dr. Feder has served as clinical consultant to the HELP Center at San Diego State University. Other consulting assignments have included in-service trainings at Options in San Diego; the Rockefeller Foundation; the U.S. Department of Justice; Human Development Center at Queens College, City University of New York. He has also been associated with the Alpha Project, Coronado City Schools, and Grossmont College.

For the past thirty years, Dr. Feder has been in private, clinical practice in San Diego, California. The past twenty-four years have been spent at the Feder-Mackler Clinic, which he co-founded in 1982. Besides working with the general population of adults, Dr. Feder specializes in working with the law enforcement community. He also does work with adults struggling with gender and lifestyle issues.

Cinda is a Certified Divorce Planner and a Certified Financial Planner and the owner of Divorce Financial Solutions in San Diego, California.

Cinda has 25 years experience providing comprehensive financial planning and 14 years experience in the unique financial issues surrounding divorce.  She is skilled in assisting clients and attorneys in all phases of the divorce process.  Cinda works well with one or both parties to gather the necessary information and to demonstrate settlement alternatives that facilitate the divorce negotiations.

Mel Mackler, M.A., M.F.T. (619) 291-2511  

 For the past 30 years, Mel Mackler has been working with adults, children and families experiencing issues of divorce and separation. Since 1979, he has been in private practice, and has continuously been treating clients having depression and anxiety, as well as troubled relationships. He teaches at the University of San Diego in the Graduate Program of Marriage and Family Studies, and is director of supervision at Coastal Communities’ counseling clinic. He has been on staff at the university since 199l, and at Coastal Communities since 1979.

While living in Washington, D.C., he worked at D.C. General Hospital’s child and adolescent psychiatric unit and also with the Smithsonian Institute. Since moving to San Diego, he has been associated with Alpha Project, Coronado’s Central Elementary School, and San Diego Center for Children, serving as counselor to the seriously emotionally disturbed and their families.

In addition to his clinical license, he holds life credentials in Counseling and Psychology from the California Community Colleges. He has been a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists since 1987, and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists since 1978. In 1982, he established with Michael Feder, PhD. the Feder-Mackler Clinic, a full service counseling center for psychological issues.
